Creating a highly textured photograph without layering crackled effects in Photoshop is somewhat difficult to do; that is, until you join Licensed Artist Stacy Tonozzi who shows you a unique way to develop your traditional photograph into a highly textured piece of fine art. In this powerful and exciting workshop, you will not only discover the meaning of depth within your photograph, but you will also learn how to create texture that will enhance every photograph you print.
 EMULSION TRANSFER
The emulsion transfer process is a printing process that lifts off the image from its original photographic surface and it is then transferred to an alternate surface such as wood, canvas, metal, stone, etc… There are three processes that deals with emulsion, image transfer, emulsion lift, and emulsion transfer. Stacy will instruct all three processes and guide you into the production of creative print processing.
Learning to layer is one of the most important composition techniques when composing your art. Discover how to manipulate a variety of 2-D images and 3-D textures to invent a whole new technique that will be uniquely yours.
Dig into the variety of textures. Learn to create background, foreground and middle ground effects, by using different textures.
Turn your ordinary two-dimensional photograph into a unique, three-dimensional piece of FINE ART.
Create, explore, discover………
 MIXED MEDIA
The emulsion transfer process is only the beginning of this workshop. We will explore the process of working with mixed media, and how this process can further enhance your images. This workshop will focus on using a variety of mediums and design principals to help guide you on your quest to developing your own photographic masterpiece. “From the moment I picked up my first camera, I have had to fuel a flame that continues to spark in creative photography, alternative printmaking, mixed media processes and contemporary art. With a strong educational background in Photography and Fine Art, my passion continues to grow.
My inspiration and desire for photography have connected me to art in a way that is not explainable in words. I can only show others through the lens of my camera how I see and feel about the world that I live in today.
The purpose of my art is to take the viewer to a multidimensional setting, which excites the mind with adventure and diversity. Where energy is transformed and altered into a deeper sense of spiritual awareness, helping you realize that a tree is not just a tree, but a complex image defying the passing of time, space functionality, symmetry, and yet retains its original purpose and purity of being simply a tree.”
